The Military World Games are an international multi-sport competition for military athletes from around the world. The games are organized by the International Military Sports Council, known as CISM, and bring together active-duty service members representing more than 100 nations.
The 2027 games will be the first Military World Games hosted in the United States.
Working with the 2027 Military World Games Local Organizing Committee, UNC Charlotte will provide athletic, housing and other operational infrastructure for the games.
Campus operations are expected to be altered from June 21 through July 5, 2027.
